Medicinal and Ayurvedic properties
Our body is exposed to a plethora of pollutants. Everything our senses perceive is tainted by some form of chemical. That is why we need untouched purity to get inside the gut and do its magic.
Bilona Ghee from EARTHFOOD’s is that magic. It is not only rich in nutrients and free of cruelty but is also created via a process that ensures you get the product in its purest form. Here’s how the cycle goes:
The cow is milked naturally only after the calves are fed.
The untouched milk is then boiled and used to create curd in clay pots
Bilona - hand churning method is used to make the buttermilk
Separate the butter from the buttermilk.
Boil the butter to derive purest Bilona Ghee which is then transferred to duly sterilized (without the use of chemicals or soaps) glass bottles.
Frequently Asked Question's
Q1. Is this ghee pure and free of chemicals?
A. Yes. We observe each stage in the process of deriving Bilona ghee and ensure that you get the purest of ingredients, composed of the best nutrition. It is an immunity booster that is created with only A2 milk of indigenous (Desi) cows and has no chemicals, pesticides, or even growth enhancers.
Q2. Are the Calves fed properly?
A. We make sure that the calves get their heart’s share before the cows give milk of the finest quality that can further be converted into ghee.
Q3. Is any machinery used to derive milk or ghee?
A. We use traditional methods of milking the cows ensuring no harm is caused to them at any point. The only tool we use is the traditional Bilona - wooden hand churner. Further, the butter is boiled on fire from cow dung and we do not use any cooking gas in the entire process. No machines are in the packaging too
